How we rank sweepstakes casinos
Four measurements, fixed weights, and a test account at every casino. No casino can pay for a position and we do not earn commissions when you sign up.
See the weights18+ (21+ in some states). No purchase necessary.Four things decide the order
Payout speed
35%Hours from redemption request to money in the account, measured on our own account each month and compared with reader reports.
Usable free coins
30%Free Sweepstakes Coins divided by the redemption minimum. A casino that gives enough free coins to redeem scores full marks here.
Fair terms
20%Playthrough multiplier, redemption minimum, expiry rules and how plainly the terms are written.
Support and app
15%Time to a useful human answer on live chat or email, plus how well the site works on a phone.
What we actually do at each casino
We register with real details, complete identity verification, collect the welcome coins and play them through. When the balance reaches the minimum we request a redemption and record the time. We then ask the support desk one easy question and one awkward one and time both answers.
Each measurement is converted to a score out of ten. Payout speed runs from ten at seven hours down to four at three days. Usable free coins scores ten when the free coins meet the minimum and falls as the gap widens. Fair terms starts at ten for 1x playthrough and a 50 SC minimum and loses points for 2x or 100 SC. Support and app is judged on response time and mobile usability.
The four scores are weighted as above and converted to a mark out of five, which is the figure in every table. Ties are broken by payout speed.
Three rules we hold ourselves to
No paid positions
No casino can buy a rank or a review. The order is the weighted score and nothing else.
No affiliate commissions
Our links carry no tracking code and we earn nothing when you register. That is why the buttons point to our own review pages.
No stale numbers
Every figure is re-tested monthly. When a casino changes its offer or slows down, its score moves and the date at the top of the site updates.
No real-money claims
Sweepstakes casinos are promotions, not gambling sites. We say so on every page and we never describe prizes as winnings from gambling.
